MEDIA RELEASE
2022 Virtual Power of the Purse Brunch Tickets are
now available for Purchase from the Morden Area
Foundation.
The Morden Area Foundation’s Power of the Purse Brunch is a coaching
program to help build the capacity of, and create visibility for,
Morden’s charitable sector while bringing local women together to
learn about the needs of the community and then use this opportunity
to support Morden’s residents by donor directed grants to the
participating charities.
The Power of the Purse is a movement that helps organizations create
powerful, high-energy cases for support, delivered in five minutes or
less!
Through the Power of the Purse Brunch event, leaders from local
charities will learn how to tell their organization’s stories succinctly
and powerfully through the assistance of Cate Friesen of The Story
Source. The program culminates in an event where three organizations
vi for a portion of $10,000 according to the decision of the 100 women
in attendance.
Thursday, February 3rd, 2022. For immediate release: The mission of the Morden Area
Foundation Power of the Purse Brunch event is to engage women of all generations in the

new initiatives that target emerging needs of women and children.
