The Kinship and Foster Family Network of Manitoba (formerly the Manitoba Foster Family Network) will be in Altona offering our Basic Training for Kinship/Foster Parents. This training is Provincially funded and no cost to participants.
Our 9 (3 hours each) training modules will be offered twice weekly over a 4 week interval commencing Sept 17, 2019. This training will help caregivers to build parent strategies and introduce numerous tools to strengthen parenting skills. Some topics covered are Child Development, Relationships and Attachment, Teaching Life Skills and Fostering Self-care.
