Altona Curling Club

Altona Community Action Network invites you to our Waste-Reduction Earth Day evening on April 25, 7:00-9:00 at the Altona Curling Club. It will be an evening all about how to reduce your waste.

A short documentary will be shown featuring the inspiring story of a Canadian couple who drastically reduced their waste. After the documentary there will be time to connect with Penner Waste who is ready to answer your composting questions, Blue Sky Opportunities who is ready to answer your recycling questions, and Boomerang Bags Altona who is hoping to help you kick the single-use plastic bag habit.

Coffee/Tea and cookies provided. Admission is a non-perishable item for the food bank. Come on out to learn more about how to send less to the landfill and come early, 6:30-7:00 for free compost to pick up in the parking lot compliments of Penner Waste (bring your own container).

Location

Altona Curling Club, 226C 10Th Ave NW, Altona, MB
