Looking for some exciting racing this Saturday, then come on down to Letellier. This is a 100 mile race for sleds, 1973 and older with a single cylinder, maximum engine size is 340 cc. It's 25 laps on a section of land, so you can see the racers a lot of the time. There will be 50+ machines coming from ND, Minn. MN, and SK.
The exciting race commentary will be done by yours truly, so I won't be racing, but doing what I do best, and that is talk. I was an oval track racer from 1970 to 1974, so these machines are from my era.
There are actually 3 races within this race. One class is the HD carbed machines, one is the HR class, and the 50/50 is for racers 50 and over, that can elect to race 1/2 the race, or 50 miles.
You can warm up in the Letellier Community Centre on site with great home made food and beverages ranging from hot coffee, to whatever else you might like. 50/50 draws will be held during the presentations, so it's just going to be a fun day. The Chinese auction is one of the best in the province, so come on down. Don
