This somatic yoga class is an embodied yoga class - tuning in to the body’s own wisdom for healing and transformation. It moves your body through areas where involuntary and habitual contractions as a response to stress or trauma from everyday life have created stiffness and pain. The poses and flows are a jumping off point for self exploration, rediscovering parts of your body that you may have previously disconnected from, soothe your nervous system and transform your body from the inside out. Connect with yourself and gain a deeper understanding of your own body’s movement patterns, tensions, imbalances, and ways you that you tend to brace through stress. All levels welcome, no prior yoga experience necessary.
