Are you a parent or caregiver looking to get out of the house with your little ones? Join us for our Outdoor play group running from 10:30am -11:30am Tuesday mornings in the Altona Centennial Park! This group gives parents a break from their normal routine, become comfortable within their community and allow their children to socialize in a stimulating environment. This is a FREE drop-in program that focuses on building children’s literacy, numeracy and social skills. Parents/guardians and children will socialize with others, make crafts, sing songs & rhymes, while exploring the park. Great for newborns to those in Kindergarten. No snacks or drinks available at this time. Please bring a blanket if you do not want to sit on the grass and dress according to the weather (jackets, splash pants, proper footwear, hat and perhaps mittens). We would prefer if you give us a heads up if you plan on dropping in so we can plan accordingly. Call Nina @204-324-2352 or send a message to aafrc1998@gmail.com. All social distancing and other public health orders will be followed during this program.
