Hello poets, writers, song-writers, authors and visual artists of all disciplines!
The Pembina Hills Arts Council is now accepting submissions for a collaborative visual arts and text exhibition titled Illumination: Word Enfleshed that will take place August 2021.
Each literary entry should be no longer than one-page length in 12-point font. Please include on another page your inspiration and your full name. Visual artists will choose from the text entries between June 8th - 30th and will retain freedom of interpretation for the creation of the visual art.
If you're planning to submit, please remember to keep your work secret. Authors and artists will remain anonymous to each other until the exhibition opens.
Completed artworks and text will be displayed together in the PHAC principle gallery throughout the month of august.
Literature/Text Submission Deadline: Friday, June 4
Visual Artist Registration Deadline: Friday, June 25
Art must be completed and dropped off at the art gallery by Friday, July 30.
Exhibition Dates: August 3– 31, 2021.
