SAFE AT HOME MANITOBA PROGRAMMING COMES TO
MORDEN!
Morden Community Services Department has received in funding to put on
programming over the next month and a half. Programs will include virtual Yoga
classes, Tai Chi, Strength and Conditioning classes and a World Cooking Class series.
Class sizes are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment, A fitness challenge is
on again from February 22 – March 28, and there are lots of prizes to be won. Free
snowshoe rentals are available at morden.myturn.com. Additional programs and
services will be announced soon. Program registration opens on Tuesday February 16,
2021.
“We’re thrilled to be included in the Safe at Home Manitoba programming! Due to the
volume of applications they received, funding announcements were delayed. We still
have to fit our programming in before the end of March, so it is a bit of challenge, but
we’re up for it! We hope the community will jump in on the activities that are offered,”
said Stephanie Dueck, Recreation Programmer for City of Morden.
Due to the limited space in programming, registrant must be from Morden or RM of
Stanley. Details on Morden’s Manitoba Safe at Home programming can be found on
mymorden.ca/recreation, with registration for programs opening up on Tuesday
February 16. For free events, shows, activities and fitness classes throughout the
province visit https://www.safeathomemb.ca/stay-home. Let's keep each other safe by
staying in.
